WUN Easy Compensation Plan

How would an extra $600 Per Month sound to you?

( See full story and explanation about business - HERE )

I know what you are saying right now.. “Thats not money you could retire on!” You are right $600 per month may not be retirement money but this is only the beginning, this is merely our FIRST RANK within WakeUpNow....and easily achieved the first month...if not the first few day!!
There is no limit to the kind of money you can and will be making with us, but it requires you to take that first step in getting started.
WakeUpNow Founder 3
The commission money you see above from WakeUpNow (WUN) is not just a one time payment… These commissions are being payed out to me EVERY MONTH. It is proven that if the majority of most American households had an extra $600 per month that would save them filing bankruptcy. Now is the time to make that change.

Time flies...still going Strong?

So today is March 2nd. We are already a full 2 months and a day into the year of 2014.

What the hell ?!

Where does time go!!

It feels like yesterday we were saying "Happy New Year" and talking about our New Years Resolutions. Wow...before we know it, Easter will be here (which is right around the corner), then summer, Thanksgiving, Christmas..dam..it really seems like time flies! (Think they already have Christmas stuff out at the stores...lol.....jk)

Speaking of those Resolutions...how are they going for you? Still going strong?

It seems like every year, it is the same old thing.

We get pumped up at the beginning of the year...make some goals and Resolutions to get accomplished (this will be THE year!!!) then as life continues forward, we get lost in the daily routine. To give us credit tho, usually life is full of a lot of crap that does not even pertain to what our Resolutions were about.

So...if you still have those goals in mind and are working on them, then I applaud you. Good job!! Nothing feels better than to stay on track with something and get it accomplished. Hopefully you still feel about those Resolutions like you did on day one...and want to succeed with them more than ever!

But the tough part is coming up.

The rest of the year!!

For most people...the beginning of the year (well at least up to now) is a breeze. Of course you have life happening...but usually we can handle all that plus some. But now we start getting into big holidays and summer..you know, stuff like that. The year seems to start getting a little bit (or a lot) more chaotic...and times seems to fly by even faster.

So now is the time to "readjust the sails, and steady the course"...so to speak.

Take a few minutes..or longer time would be even better..to go over your New Years Resolutions, tweak them if needed, and renew your focus and commitment on them.

Obviously you know that you can accomplish them...and you want to accomplish them...or you would have never made them. (I keep saying them, with the assumption that you made more than one Resolution....yes, I know what they say about assuming....but I feel pretty confident in saying that most people make more than one Resolution).

So now is the time to kick it up a notch, get back on track...and kick those Resolutions in the ass!!

Because, as you know...time flies!

Deep Words from an Old Gentleman

Earlier today, I had a conversation with this older gentleman..want to say he is probably in 80's or so.

He is on vacation with his daughter and family, and was glad to get out of the house...he said at the end and beginning of the month his daughter always starts 'nagging' about money and bills ('nagging' is his terminology..personally I know women do not nag).

I said that is usually how everyone is, because pay day and bills are usually due around that time.

He huffed and said, I have tried to tell her time and time again...

"Life is not about bills and money. Life is about living...
and if you are always worried about bills and money, you will never live."

WOW! Deep words!

We went on to talk about how he had not always thought like that...and he has had his share of ups and downs with finances. He had been married twice, the first ending due to bills and money, and his second wife passing away a few years ago.

Then he uttered the age old saying...

"If i would have known then what I know now.."

To sum up, this gentleman really got me to thinking...

What truly is important in our life at the end of the day?

What knowledge are we disregarding from our elders...that could truly benefit us?

...to name a few questions that come to mind. I swear, the older i get, the wiser our elders seem to be...and the more respect I have for them.

Morning Good or the Bad ??

Morning!

So had some serious thinking this morning.

(not to say I do not think every other morning...but you get the idea)

First thing getting my day started...I had something bad happen...then, not 5 minutes after it, I had something good happen. Which all led me to the serious thinking!!

Everyday, we have things happen to us. Yes, sometimes the things that happen are all good. And sometimes the things that happen are all bad. But on average, you get a blend of both throughout the day. What really seems to stick with you though...is which one you focus on!

Now...I could have focused on the bad thing that happened. I could have let it override and be in my thoughts all day. And believe me...sometimes it just feel good to dwell on being pissy. If you go that route, you start focusing on all that is wrong and you see bad things just about everywhere!! Well, to me, that just isn't any fun...and kinda depressing. As I said in earlier blog (No more Negative Spew) focusing on the bad, or as i like to call it - the negative, just leads to more of the same!!

So...

I choose to focus on the good something that happened. Not only does it lead me to more good thinking, but it puts me in a happy mood as well! So since I am having 'good thinking', it becomes contagious and helps others I come into contact with have 'good thinking' as well!

(I have to pause here and give some consideration to all my english teachers...I do know proper grammar...sometimes, lol)

The bad and the good that happened this morning really weren't that big of a issue...and I am probably expanding this out of proportion to make a point...but it is making a point, lol.

If ya think of it all like a circle...what you think or feel is what you get. So...if you know you are going to get something...wouldn't you want it to be good?  Makes me think of the saying "What goes around, comes around."

NO MORE Negative Spew

So, I was getting a little frustrated.

A little frustrated with people, a little frustrated with life, a little frustrated with my part time business.

If you know me, then you are thinking..."WHAT?! He is crazy about that part time business!"

As you know (and if you don't know, please refer to past blog about it here) I have a part time business that I am obsessed with. Well not really obsessed...but I DO think it is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Well...to me...it just makes common sense to become involved with it. But, to each their own...and I know it is not meant for some people. I understand that. But please do not bust my bubble about it!

Granted, as with anything, you can over think it (or life in general)...and ruin the whole opportunity by applying or adding more to it than there really is. That...along with just the negative society we live in...it is a real buzz kill when you are sometimes trying to grow your business, or for that matter just lead a positive lifestyle!

Of course...I understand that in Network Marketing especially you will receive more No's than Yes's.

I get that. I do. As Les Brown, my favorite speaker, says.."make No your vitamin. Take it daily."

But some people just wake up with a negative attitude...and have a goal of spewing that on everything or everyone they meet!! Is it just me, or am I right in thinking that it does not feel good to be so negative? I mean...if they took all that negative energy and applied it to something constructive...or...dare I say it...something positive, then wow think what they could do!!

Of course...being the person I am, I try to tell them this. Thankfully some hear it, and you can almost see the wheels turning in their heads as they think about it. But unfortunately...there are many who just continue on with their negativity. So, all in all, I pray for them..and hope someone will get through to them.

WHAT GETS ME IS...

Sometimes that spew of negativity clings to my attitude. Just a little bit of it will breed and if I let it, it will ruin my entire day. I find myself taking calming deep breathes from time to time....just to try and get that negativity off me.

All in all, there is a lesson to be learned from these negative people.

The way I figure it is, you get two choices. To look at things in a positive way...or to look at things in a negative way. One is happy, and one is sad. One is healthy, and one is not. Everyday you are given that choice to decide which way you want to go. I know which way I decide to go with when I wake up...

How about you?

Some Steps to Doubling Your Productivity

Ever wonder how you can double the amount of work you can get done in the same amount of time with just a few simple steps?
The problem is, we are conditioned against productivity. We are designed to not be able to focus.
So it’s not entirely your fault if you have been struggling to get things done, it’s evolutions.
But, there is hope. What if in just 5 steps you could build your focus and productivity muscles to be bigger than Arnold Schwarzenegger’s biceps, well, his old biceps from back in his Mr. Olympia days?
What if in one hour you could finish what used to take you a day?
The promise is that, if you repeatedly follow these 5 steps, you will win the battle over your evolutionary conditioning and double your productivity.
First I want to tell you a little about the enemy: the natural state of your mind.
Your mind is chaos
In the bestselling book, Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience, after decades of research Mihaly Csikszentmihaly found that “contrary to what we tend to assume, the normal state of the mind is chaos.”
In the time that it took you to read this post so far, the region of your brain associated with consciousness and focus has radically shifted from what it was before you found your way to this page.
Brain researchers Dr. Cunningham and Zelazo discovered that this region of the brain is updated five to eight times a second. Neuroscientist, Dr. Hanson says that “this neurological instability underlies all states of mind.”
What this means is that we are conditioned not to focus on one thing at at time.
How to defeat evolution in 5 steps
Like anything in life though, all it takes is practice and repetition to achieve mastery over your evolutionary flaws.
Researchers have shown that until the very end of our lives, our brain is malleable. It can be molded to suit our desired lifestyle. Like any other muscle, it gets stronger when worked out. But it’s up to us to make the effort and hit the gym.
These 5 steps are the dumbbells you need to strengthen your brain.
1. Practice Awareness
Throughout your day, whether you are watching TV, walking to the train or working on your computer, simply become aware of what your body is doing. Notice whether your legs are crossed, become aware of your feet hitting the pavement as you walk, without changing what your body is doing, just train your mind to become aware of your body and your environment.
This exercise makes your conscious mind a more active part of your life as opposed to you going about your day on autopilot.
2.  Focus your mind
As you start building your awareness muscles, the next step is to direct your brain to go where you want it to go.
In his research. Dr. Andrew Newberg scanned the brains of praying nuns, chanting Sikhs and meditating Buddhists and noticed that they had greater activity in the areas of the brain associated with focus than those that do not practice any kind of meditation. He also found that after just 8 weeks, practicing some form of meditation improved focus and memory for a group of elderly people experiencing problems with their memory.
Starting today, spend at least 10 minutes every day in silence with no distractions and focus your mind on your breathing. Close your eyes, breathe in for four seconds and breathe out for four seconds. If your mind wanders, it’s okay. That is natural at first. When that happens, notice where your mind goes and bring it back to your breathing.
The four breaths in and four breaths out acts like an anchor for you to direct your brain toward.
3. Assign labels to your states of mind
Dr Lieberman, a researcher at UCLA, found that the act of labeling emotions increases activity in the conscious parts of the brain related to focus and awareness, while decreasing activity in the emotional brain.
Throughout the day, at least once every hour, assign a label to your emotion. Simply give a name to your state of being. This separates you from your emotional brain and gives more power to your conscious brain.
4. Set preemptive strikes
Psychologists Peter Gollwitzer and Veronika Brand-statter took a group of elderly patients recovering from hip or knee replacement surgery and split them into two groups with separate instructions. One group was told to write down exactly when and where they would take a bath or go for a walk. The other group was just encouraged to do the same at their leisure.
The patients that used preemptive strikes were taking a bath by themselves in 3 weeks, while the other group took 7 weeks. The preemptive strike group was standing up in 3.5 weeks, while the other group took 7.7.
Whatever you want to get done, write down and plan exactly when you will do it and how long you will take to do it. Setting these preemptive strikes will give your mind clear directions and prevent the chaotic mind from sabotaging your success.
5. Chunk your time using a trigger
I am sure you know by now that multitasking is not an efficient method for getting things done. It only contributes to the already chaotic mind.
To double your productivity, chunk your time into one hour blocks and do only one thing in that hour. What I like to do to is hit start on a timer at the beginning of each hour shift. Hitting the start button acts like a trigger that tells my brain it’s time to work. This puts me in a focused state and I find that I get a lot more done when I hit a start button than when I don’t.
After every hour take a short 10 minute break. This will give your brain the recovery time it needs and ensure that when you are in “getting things done mode,” you actually get things done.
That’s it. Five steps practiced over time and you will double your productivity.

You get what you put in

Yep.
That is a hard lesson to learn in life…and it is one that I believe I am still learning.
If you want something…how bad do you want it?

If you do not have it yet, than work harder. It boils down to how bad you want it and how hard are you willing to work. We all have the ability to get whatever we want out of this life. It is just sooooooo many people just get frustrated, tired, upset, pissed off that they just stop…and settle.
I for one am not the settling type. I will make me and my families dreams come true…and I wanted to write ‘or die trying’ but no…dying is an excuse. I will make those dreams come true. Period. No ifs, ands, or buts.
Now does that mean I know what I am doing? A big fat NO! But there are others who have wanted what you want and done what you want to do. So why not learn from them? Or at least get a understanding of what they went through to achieve it.
It is hard to make your dreams come true. No one ever said it was easy. If it was then we would all be living in our own version of paradise. It is hard…but it is also so worth it!
So if you want to achieve your dreams, never give up till you have them!                                         In this life you get what you put in!

Dashed Dreams and Future

So…when you were a kid…what did you want to be?
I mean before life smacked you in the face and things got real…what were your dreams?
To be a doctor, fire fighter, painter, architect… as a child it seemed like you could be anything you set your mind too!!
What happened to that?
As we grow up…life, responsibilites, family, etc seem to loom larger and larger and kinda hold us down. Which..is not necessarily a bad thing, especially if one of your dreams fall into the catagory of where life is taking you.
But what if that is not the case? What if you but those childish dreams in a cage in the back of your head and threw away the key?
There is still time!
Now…to be realistic…I don’t think anyone can be Superman or Batman. But what is to stop you from becoming a doctor, fire fighter, painter, architect, or whatever else you always had a dream of being?
As I said in an early blog (really kinda getting to like that world..blog..even kinda sounds cool) we only live once…and the fatality rate is 100% to this lifetime. Why not do what we want to? I mean…in the end…this is our life right? Not someones else’s to build their dream and hold us down. All of us, yes including you, have the ability to be whatever we want.
We see it time and time again of people achieving their dreams and becoming the person who they want to be. Well here is an amazing thought…they are no different then you or I. They still have to…as they say…put their pants on one leg at a time, you know? They have to eat, breath, sleep, shower, go to restroom, etc like us. They are human…we are all human. All I am saying is, why not be the best human you can be?
Anything holding you back can be overcome if you put your mind to it!

I have some BAD news....

I hate to say it…
You are going to die.
Yep…Life has a fatality rate of 100%. Everyone of us will eventually die…and if you know of the secret to Eternal Youth please share..(No seriously get with me about that if you know).
SOOOOO…in the words of the Joker…’why so serious?’
If we only live once and eventually it is going to end..why not make it the best we can?  Of course I do not mean to walk around with a crazy grin on your face. If you do and get thrown in the nut house…don’t call me. But we could try to look at the bright side or positive side first…instead of always thinking about the negative.
Have you ever talked to someone and..you kinda stop talking to them cause they are always worrying, complaining …or just bitching? (Sorry for language..I try not to use cuss words but I just wanted to get my point across.) Negativity is contagious. If your feeling blue, down, or just fussy than other’s around you will start feeling the same way. BUT if you are happy and positive, others will feel that and start acting that way too!!
Think of it like a cloud around you. Either it is going to stink with all the negativity or smell good with all the positivity. Which do you want? I know which one I choose!
Now please do not get me wrong. We, as adults…(yes..more bad news..we all have to grow up and become adults…but that is for a future blog) have responsibilities. Some more than others. But at the end of the day…when you are getting ready to go to sleep…was the stress and negativity about all those responsibilities worth it? NO!
So…to conclude….’Why so serious?’

:-)
